Halstead/Newton - Meet at the Kaufman Museum in North Newton at 6:45 a.m. Bring a sack lunch. Compilation at 5:30 p.m. at the museum.
Hays - Meet at the south entrance of Albertson Hall, Fort Hays State University campus at 7:30 a.m.
Holton - Contact compiler for details if you are interested. Meet at the Country Mart Deli at 7:30am.
Kanopolis Lake - Meet at 8 a.m. at Smoky Hill Trading Post just south of the dam along Highway 141. Lunch at noon at Trading Post; reconvene at 4 p.m. for wrap-up. Contact Bob if you plan to help with the count.
John Redmond - Meet at 7:30 at the John Redmond Reservoir Corps of Engineer's Office west of New Strawn on Embankment Rd. Participants may also choose to meet at the Flint Hills Refuge Office in Hartford at 7:30 if that is closer. Tim Menard will be at that location.
Junction City - Meet at Sapp Brothers Truck stop, I-70 Exit 295, at 7:30 a.m.
Lawrence - Parties and locations are determined ahead of time. Please contact Galen ahead of time if you want to participate.
Leavenworth - Contact John ahead of time to confirm participation and to get details.
Linn County - Meet at the gas station on the LaCygne exit on US69 at7:20 a.m. Please contact Roger Boyd ahead of time for more information if you are planning to participate.
Manhattan - Contact compiler for details and assignments. Compilation will be held at the Riley County Seniors Services Center, 301 N 4th Street in Manhattan about 6 p.m. The compilation will be a potluck, folks usually bring chili or a dish to share.
Marion - Meet at Wendy's in Hillsboro at 8:00 a.m. for assignments. Contact Tom (above) for more information.

Olathe - Meet at McDonald's at K-7 & Santa Fe at 7 a.m. Compilation and potluck dinner at 4:30. Please contact compiler if you want to participate.

Parsons - Meet at the Stockyard Plaza truck stop at 7:00 a.m., located at US 400 and 59 Hwy junction, 1 mile north of Parsons. Contact the compiler if you plan to come or have any questions.
Quivira - Meet at the headquarters at 7:30 a.m. Contact Mike Rader ahead of time if you plan to participate. Lunch will be provided.
Red Hills - Meet at the Medicine River Truck Stop, located at 301 N. Fowler in Medicine Lodge, located right on US 160 at the junction with US 281. Groups will depart at 7:30 a.m.
Salina - Meeting place is Lakewood Discovery Center at Lakewood Park in Salina. Meet at 7:30 a.m. Lunch on your own, chili dinner for compilation.
Sawyer - Meet in the Pratt KDWPT office in the downstairs break room at 7:30 am. In case of inclement weather, alternate date is 1/4/2017. Contact compiler if you are planning to participate.
Sedan - Meet at Granny Wolfe's Green Door Cafe )north side of West Main in Sedan) at 7:30 for breakfast or 8:00 to start birding.
Slate Creek - Meet at the Slate Valley Baptist Church, 7 miles south of Oxford at 8:00 a.m.
Southeast Kansas Mined Land - Meet at the Express Lane Mini Mart, northeast corner at N Hwy 7 & Katy, Scammon, KS at 7:00 a.m. NOTE!!!! - Highway 7 from the north is closed for construction. Consult map for alternate routes!
